During the grand final of IEM Katowice 2024 at the Spodek arena on Sunday, Feb. 11, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev briefly hinted at his return to Counter-Strike 2.

In an interview on the official tournament broadcast, s1mple expressed his desire to make a comeback to competitive play after the PGL Copenhagen CS2 Major.

"I hope after the Major," s1mple responded when asked about his potential return. "I hope nothing is going to happen with their roster because they were practicing really hard after I took this break. Let's see what is going to happen after the Major."
