ZywOo, who earned his 23rd MVP award in Lisbon, further cemented his legacy, surpassing Ukrainian legend s1mple, who previously held the record with 22 MVP titles.
Team Vitality's triumph at the Blast Open Spring 2025 adds another major achievement to their impressive 2025 run. With their 16th consecutive victory, they join an exclusive group of teams with lengthy win streaks, including Astralis' 17 wins in 2018-2019, FaZe's 18 wins to start CS2, and Team Liquid's 23-win streak en route to winning the Intel Grand Slam in 2019.
The Grand Final was an intense battle, beginning with a stunning 13-0 victory on Inferno, as Team Vitality dominated their German rivals, Mouz. However, Mouz fought back with determination, claiming a narrow 13-11 win on Mirage before edging out another close 13-11 victory on Dust II. The series was tied at 2-2, setting the stage for a decisive final map.
On Nuke, Vitality showed their resilience, securing a 13-7 victory to force a game five. The decider, played on Train, was a tense, back-and-forth affair, but Team Vitality held their nerve, clinching a 13-7 victory to seal their victory and claim the title of Blast Open Spring 2025 champions.
