Tundra Esports has won Dota 2’s BLAST Slam II tournament following a 3-0 victory against Gaimin Gladiators.
Throughout February 4th-9th, the British esports organisation only lost one series (versus Team Liquid), securing the lion’s share of the event’s $1 million prize pool as a result. BLAST Slam II saw ten invited Dota 2 teams compete throughout a round-robin group stage, followed by single-elimination playoffs. All matches were best-of-threes (BO3s), except for the best-of-five (BO5) Grand Final.
The winner of last year’s BLAST Slam edition, BetBoom Team, failed to make it past the Round Two Playoffs. However, Blast Slam I runner-up, Tundra Esports, secured a spot straight to the Semifinals after a 3-1 performance in the Group Stage. The British team defeated Nigma Galaxy 2-1, advancing to the Grand Final against Gaimin Gladiators.

Gamin Gladiators, who have won Riyadh Masters 2024 and are two-time The International runner-ups, did not take a single match in the series. Tundra's sweep of the BLAST Slam II grand finals notably extends their winning streak over Gaimin Gladiators to 10 games dating back to November 2024, with nine of those victories coming since Dyrachyo joined Tundra after getting kicked by Gaimin Gladiators.
While Gaimin Gladiators fall short of their first tournament win of 2025, this runner-up finish in BLAST Slam II is still their best result since they replaced Dyrachyo with Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov.
