Swedish developer Dead Astronauts has secured €4 million in an "oversubscribed" seed funding round led by Behold Ventures.
The studio plans to use the funds to grow its core team and advance the development of its open-world action-adventure game, codenamed Veil, which is being built using Unreal Engine 5.
The round also saw contributions from Lifelike Capital, 1Up Ventures, and Acequia Capital. Additionally, angel investors including Matt Bilbey, Are Mack Growen, Klaas Kersting, Asbjoern Malte Soendergaard, and Kristian Segerstråle played a role in funding the project.
