Esports Charts Partners with DouYu and Huya
Esports Charts revealed a new analytical service called DoHuya, which will share the statistics of viewer activity on, DouYu and Huya streaming sites.
Currently, DoHuya data will focus on for three main entities: channels, games (categories) and live broadcasts. The release stated that the main metric used by DouYu and Huya is the ‘Heat Index’, and one can find out its peak and average values depending on the selected entity and time period. Nazar Babenko, Streams Charts Product Manager stated "“The global mission of Streams Charts is to increase transparency and trust in live-streaming viewership statistics. We regularly update our database with new platforms, and over the past year, we integrated statistics of several new services, such as Mildom, Kick and Rumble. We are proud to be able to say without exaggeration that we have the largest database of live-streaming stats & analytics.
Since we already cover the largest services in Europe, America and Southeast Asia, turning our eyes to China is the right and logical decision. It’s no secret that Chinese platforms count the popularity of broadcasts and channels not solely by concurrent audience, but by a special index, so we decided to combine all such platforms within a dedicated service. DouYu and Huya are the first steps in that direction, and we are already making efforts to integrate the stats of bilibili and CC163. Stay tuned for news!”
