According to recent news, GameStop is shutting down its cryptocurrency marketplace, approximately a year and a half after its initial launch. The company disclosed in a notice on the NFT marketplace that it is currently in the process of "winding down" operations, with a planned closure on February 2, 2024. Following this date, customers will no longer have the ability to purchase, sell, or create NFTs on the platform. However, existing NFTs will continue to be accessible and tradable through alternative platforms.
