Microsoft's internal emails revealed that the planned to buy SEGA Sammy and Bungie. Internal emails read as “We believe that Sega has built a well-balanced portfolio of games across segments with global geographic appeal, and will help us accelerate Xbox Game Pass both on and off-console.” The emails also revealed that Microsoft also targeted IO Interactive and Bungie.
