HEROIC announced the departure of Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström. He will leave the organization after the BLAST World Final. Richard "⁠Xizt⁠" Landström joined Heroic in 2021. He stated that the decision was based on mutual agreement. "Xizt" wrote "We built something amazing, from being booed in every stadium to being celebrated and applauded towards the end. Our playstyle was unique, dynamic and entertaining. It was the main reason I wanted to join, and I feel like I contributed a lot to one of the most successful teams in this era of CS. "
