Formation and Origins
The idea of creating Los Ratones first surfaced during a Twitch livestream on June 1, 2024, when Marc "Caedrel" Lamont discussed the possibility of forming a professional League of Legends team with Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek and Simon "Thebausffs" Hofverberg (widely known as Baus). At the time, Nemesis had an established legacy as an LEC (League of Legends European Championship) player with two appearances at the World Championship, while Baus was known for his role as a guest caster and analyst during the 2021 LEC season.

The trio's chemistry and shared vision for a UK-based team led to the announcement in November 2024, when Caedrel revealed that Los Ratones would be born. This marked a significant shift in the competitive esports landscape for the UK.
