|content=Paris-based game developer Amplitude Studios has successfully raised $13.6 million (€12 million) in a Series A funding round, marking a significant milestone since regaining its independence from Sega last November.

The majority of the investment came from Griffin Gaming Partners, contributing $11.3 million, with additional support from the French investment bank Bpifrance. The fresh capital will be used to finalize development of their current title, Endless Legend 2, as well as to fund new projects, increase the studio’s workforce, and enhance community engagement.

CEO Romain de Waubert de Genlis expressed enthusiasm about the studio’s renewed autonomy and growth prospects:
