In their statement, Blacklist International explained that their decision to part ways with MPL Philippines was driven by a business opportunity aligned with the new direction of their parent company, Tier One Entertainment, which aims to expand beyond the esports industry.

While Blacklist International remains optimistic about the future of the MLBB community, they have decided to transfer the MPL franchise ownership to a new organization for MPL Philippines Season 15. Blacklist International has been a prominent name in the MLBB ecosystem. They became M3 World Champions in 2021 and, since joining MPL Philippines in 2020, have won three seasons (7, 8, and 10). After finishing third at the 2023 M5 World Championship, Blacklist placed fourth in two consecutive seasons last year, which resulted in missing out on M6.
