|content=Nintendo has announced a major leadership change set to take place at the end of 2025. Doug Bowser, current President and COO of Nintendo of America, will retire from his position on December 31, 2025, concluding a decade-long career at the company.

Succeeding him will be Devon Pritchard, currently [[Companies/Nintendo|Nintendo]] of America’s Executive Vice President of Revenue, Marketing, and Consumer Experience. With her appointment, Pritchard becomes the first woman to lead Nintendo’s North American operations. Alongside her new responsibilities, she will also join the Nintendo of America Board of Directors and take on a new role as an executive officer at Nintendo’s global headquarters in Japan.

"Leading Nintendo of America has been the honour of a lifetime, and I am proud of what our team has accomplished in both business results and the experiences we've created for consumers," said Bowser in a statement reflecting on his tenure. “Now it's time for the next generation of leadership and Devon's track record speaks for itself. I have full confidence that she will guide the company to even greater heights."
