|content=ENCE has made a significant roster shift in its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team, announcing the benching of veteran in-game leader Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander. The change marks the end of a year-and-a-half run for the four-time Major champion in the Finnish organization’s starting lineup.

Taking gla1ve’s place on the active roster is Rigon ‘[[People/rigoN|rigoN]]’ Gashi, who now joins [[Companies/ENCE|ENCE]] as the fifth player. The Kosovan rifler has been a free agent since the disbandment of Bad News Eagles, a team that impressed with deep runs at the Legends Stage of multiple Majors in 2022 and 2023, including Antwerp, Paris, and Rio.

This move also prompts a leadership change within the team. Viktor ‘sdy’ Orudzhev has been promoted to the role of in-game leader. The Ukrainian player previously took on IGL responsibilities during his time with Monte in 2023 and is now expected to bring that experience into ENCE’s upcoming tournaments.

General Manager Niklas ‘Willkey’ Okalainen expressed appreciation for gla1ve’s time with the team:

“A big thank you to Lukas for his time with us. He has been a great player to work with, consistently working hard and giving his all at ENCE, and it was an honour to lift the trophy with Elisa Masters Espoo.”

Gla1ve leaves ENCE with at least one notable accomplishment — leading the team to victory at the Elisa Masters Espoo in 2024. According to the organization, the Danish star has been granted the freedom to explore new opportunities with other teams.

Despite the shared success, ENCE believes a fresh direction is needed.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve the level of success we aimed for as a team,” Okalainen added. “So it’s now time to look ahead and build for the future.”
