|content=The Evolution Championship Series has confirmed that it will return to Nice, France, in 2026 following the success of its inaugural French event earlier this year. The second edition of Evo France is scheduled to take place from October 9th to 11th, 2026.

Evo France 2025 was a landmark moment for the fighting game community, marking the first time an official Evo tournament was held in Europe after years of events across North America and Asia. The debut event featured a mix of established titles and new entries, including the official tournament debut of 2XKO, [[Companies/Riot Games|Riot Games]]’ new 2v2 fighting game. French competitor Marwan “Wawa” Berthe claimed victory in that tournament, further solidifying his reputation as one of the top players in the world.

Alongside 2XKO, fans witnessed intense competition in Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. The Tekken 8 bracket delivered one of the weekend’s most talked-about stories, with 16-year-old player Neia advancing to the second day of play and finishing in 17th place—a remarkable achievement for such a young competitor.

Evo France 2025 wrapped up the year’s schedule for the tournament series. The next stop on the Evo circuit will be in Tokyo, Japan, from May 1st to 3rd, 2026, before the event makes its return to the French Riviera that October.
