|content=BLAST has confirmed that UK-based esports organisation Fnatic will step in to replace HEROIC at the upcoming BLAST Open London tournament, scheduled to take place this September in the heart of England’s capital.

The announcement, made over the weekend, marks HEROIC as the fourth team to withdraw from the event. According to BLAST, the Norwegian organisation is unable to participate due to major roster complications. “The organisation has been replaced as a result of it being unable to field three of the five players that represented the team when the initial invitation was distributed,” BLAST stated.

One of the key issues stemmed from the return of Yasin ‘xfl0ud’ Koç, who reportedly failed to secure a visa in time. This left HEROIC with only two of the original five players eligible to compete, falling short of BLAST's minimum participation requirements.

Fnatic’s inclusion at BLAST Open London signals a notable return to Tier 1 Counter-Strike competition. The last time the legendary org appeared on the international stage was at the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major, where they placed in the top 24.
