|content=Ludwig Sandgren the founder of the esports organization GODSENT, formerly known as The Final Tribe, announced that he had filed for bankruptcy for the company he established in 2017. In an emotional farewell statement titled “Farewell GODSENT,” he reflected on the organization’s journey, the recent sale process, and his decision to step away from the esports industry altogether.

He expressed disappointment over how the bankruptcy estate handled the sale of the GODSENT brand. According to his statement, several “professional and credible parties of international stature” individuals he trusted to carry on the organization’s legacy—had shown interest in purchasing the brand but were not contacted or allowed to participate in the bidding process.

He revealed that [[Companies/GODSENT|GODSENT]] was ultimately sold to a buyer he believes lacks relevant experience and resources in esports. “We reached out in good faith, offering to buy it back for more than what was paid, but the new owner refuses to communicate,” he said, while still wishing the new ownership “the best of luck.”

Reflecting on his time at the helm, he described the experience as both humbling and rewarding, stating, “I fought to the very end and went down with the ship. First in, last out. I gave it everything I had, and then some.”

Despite the disappointing conclusion, he expressed gratitude to everyone who had supported him and the organization over the years teammates, partners, family, and friends. “Most of all, thank you to the ones who stood by me when things got tough. The real ones. Family and friends. I love you,” he wrote.

After more than a decade in esports, the founder announced that he is now ready to move on and explore a completely different path, ending his statement with a note of hope: “Let’s see where the path leads.”
