The event is set to take place May 15–17, 2026, at the Georgia World Congress Center, running alongside the DreamHack Atlanta gaming festival.

The move to Atlanta ends IEM’s long-standing tradition in Dallas, which has hosted the North American leg in recent years. IEM Atlanta 2026 will gather 16 of the world’s best Counter-Strike 2 teams, determined by the Valve Regional Standings as of February 2026, all competing for a $1 million prize pool.
