|content=Gaming channel OnGameNet (OGN) has secured a two-year broadcasting agreement with Riot Games for League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).

According to a report from Korean gaming news outlet Naver, OGN will air all LCK matches for 2025 and 2026 via IPTV and cable TV. This coverage begins with the ongoing LCK Cup, the first split of the new competitive season.

Under the new deal, OGN will start broadcasting LCK games and related content on February 10th, airing on weekdays at 11 PM KST.

Originally launched in 2000, OGN was among the first television networks to broadcast esports competitions in South Korea. The channel has produced high-profile tournaments for several titles, including RTS game StarCraft II, Overwatch, and League of Legends through The Champions—South Korea’s top-tier competition before its rebranding as the LCK.

However, OGN’s relationship with Riot Games became complicated over the years. Riot split LCK broadcasting rights between OGN and its rival SPOTV, and in 2019, the game developer ended OGN’s involvement entirely, opting to produce the league in-house at LoL Park.

After losing the LCK rights, OGN struggled to maintain its presence in the esports industry. It was acquired by entertainment giant CJ ENM before being sold to OP.GG in 2022.

OGN CEO Nam Yoon-seung expressed his enthusiasm for the deal, stating: “I am overwhelmed by the opportunity to program the LCK, which has the best reputation in the world. We will continue to grow into an esports game channel that is loved by viewers.”
