|content=The League of Legends Championship Pacific will return for the 2026 season on 16 January, starting its second year of competition. The league is once again supported by VNGGames, Carry International, PlayBrain, and Arcanist.

CTBC Flying Oyster enters the new season as the defending champion, with the rest of the league aiming to take the title away from them. The 2026 season will also feature two Guest Teams, Deep Cross Gaming and Ground Zero Gaming, adding fresh competition to the league.

Eight teams will compete across three splits during the year. Split 1 will run from 16 January to 1 March, Split 2 from 4 April to 7 June, and Split 3 from 24 July to 30 August. Matches in Split 1 will begin earlier than before, starting in the early afternoon across the region.

A new Championship Points system will be introduced to reward teams for strong and consistent performances. Teams will earn points based on game wins, regular season standings, and playoff results. These points will decide qualification for international events, Worlds spots, and which Guest Teams must compete in the Promotion Series.

Splits 1 and 2 will use a single round-robin best-of-three format, followed by knockout stages. Split 3 will introduce a Swiss Stage, where teams play others with similar records until they earn three wins or three losses. The top teams from Split 3 will advance to playoffs to fight for the league title and Worlds qualification.

The Promotion Series will also return in 2026. Guest Teams may be required to defend their place in the league against teams from regional competitions, depending on their Championship Points. More details about this process will be announced later.

With new formats, higher stakes, and international spots on the line, the LCP 2026 season is set to be an exciting year for League of Legends fans across the Pacific region.
