|content=According to recent reports by Nexta Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media commonly known as Roskomnadzor banned [[Companies/Steam|Steam]] community. Reports suggest that Russian players will not have access to profile pages, friends lists, discussions, workshops and trading platforms. It is unknown whether the decision will be enforced.

Following the start of the invasion in 2021 [[Companies/Valve|Valve]] stopped payments for both Russian and Ukranian devs due to sanctions. However  Valve has come up with a solution to resume payments to Steam developers based in Ukraine and Russia following the suspension after a couple of months.
