|content=The developers at 1047 Games have pushed back against criticism surrounding the low Steam player numbers for Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, the rebranded and relaunched version of Splitgate 2, emphasizing that concurrent stats don't tell the full story.

Originally launched as Splitgate 2 in summer 2025 to mixed reception, the portal-based arena shooter was pulled back into beta for major overhauls. It relaunched free-to-play on December 17, 2025, as Splitgate: Arena Reloaded across PC (Steam, Epic, Windows), PlayStation, and Xbox – but has struggled to regain significant momentum on Steam.
