The publisher also reaffirmed that Premier will remain the primary in-game pathway into regional Challengers leagues, with two promotion windows scheduled for the year. ==== Challengers EMEA 2026 Overview ==== The Challengers EMEA season will once again revolve around three major tournaments, scheduled for March 16β31, May 18β28, and June 22βJuly 6. Ahead of the first two stages, regional qualifiers will determine the 14 teams advancing, with two teams per league and four from NORTH//EAST. Formats will vary by region, moving away from the full league structure used in 2025. The third Challengers event will replace Ascension and act as the primary promotion tournament to VCT EMEA. Sixteen teams will compete, with eight qualifying via circuit points and eight from regional leagues. Three teams will earn spots in the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins, while a fourth place will be decided through a Last Chance Qualifier held immediately afterward. ==== VALORANT EMEA Clash Introduced ==== [[Companies/Riot Games|Riot Games]] also unveiled the VALORANT EMEA Clash, a new cross-tier event running from February 16β26. The tournament will feature eliminated VCT EMEA Kickoff teams alongside top Challengers squads, bridging the gap between Kickoff and Masters Santiago. Challengers leagues will begin earlier, with a Kickoff starting on January 5, concluding before February 12. ==== Game Changers EMEA and Cash Cups ==== The Game Changers EMEA structure will largely mirror 2025, with a Kickoff followed by three stages of ten teams each. The key addition is the Game Changers EMEA Circuit, which introduces monthly online Cash Cups open to all teams. These events will offer prize money, ranking points, and qualification pathways to the Stage 3 Play-Ins, alongside Promotion/Relegation tournaments for Stages 2 and 3.
