|content=[[Companies/ESL FACEIT Group|ESL FACEIT Group]] (EFG) has announced the development of a new competitive gaming experience for Fortnite, named "ESL Featuring Fortnite" (UEFN). Collaborating with UEFN development studio 404 Creative, EFG aims to craft a competitive Fortnite universe incorporating custom islands, new game modes, and a team-based format. Notably, this initiative is independent of any endorsement from Fortnite's owner, [[Companies/Epic Games|Epic Games]], as the official competitive scenes for both Fortnite and Rocket League are currently managed by BLAST, a rival tournament organizer.

Several professional esports teams, including Karmine Corp., Team Heretics, ZETA Division, Dignitas, and an undisclosed "mystery organization," have already committed to participating in ESL Featuring Fortnite.
