|content=Jason Citron, the co-founder and CEO of [[Companies/Discord|Discord]], has announced he is stepping down after leading the popular gaming communication platform for over a decade. Effective April 28, Humam Sakhnini, former president of King and vice chairperson at Activision Blizzard, will assume the role of CEO. Citron, however, will continue to serve on the board and transition into an advisory role for the new CEO.

Stanislav Vishnevskiy, co-founder of Discord, will remain as the company's Chief Technology Officer.

In a statement reflecting on his tenure, Citron expressed pride in Discord’s journey, saying, “Building Discord over the last decade has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From the very beginning, our mission has been about bringing people together around games.”
