Meta, Microsoft, X, and Match have announced their support behind Epic Games in its battle against Apple. These companies are united in their accusation that Apple has failed to adhere to a court-ordered injunction regarding payment processes within its App Store. When Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging that the tech giant was engaging in monopolistic practices by limiting third-party apps and game marketplaces on iOS devices, thereby stifling competition. The court ruled that Apple’s prohibition of third-party app marketplaces and its imposition of a 30% commission within its own marketplace were unlawful.
