According to recent reports, Ubisoft is now showing ads for games during gameplay. On November 22, Reddit user triddell24 shared a clip featuring an ad that popped up when attempting to open the map. The interruption was quite noticeable, as the game paused to showcase a Black Friday promotion for Assassin's Creed Mirage, currently discounted by 20%, along with a prompt encouraging users to make a purchase. The ads were criticized by many players.
