British Esports, the national body for esports in the UK, has partnered with Leadership Skills Foundation to introduce esports leadership qualifications for young people in England. The Esports Leadership Programme will offer the first set of esports qualifications for individuals aged 11 and above, providing them with a pathway into the esports industry. Two qualifications, the Level 1 Qualification in Leadership Skills and the Level 2 Qualification in Leadership Skills, are set to launch in September 2024. These qualifications will be available in various educational settings, including secondary schools, community groups, professional football clubs, and further education colleges.
