Forza Horizon 6 is slated for its official reveal during the Tokyo Game Show 2025, scheduled for late September.
The news first surfaced via Windows Central, which reported that it has seen documents strongly suggesting that the racing game’s reveal will take place at the prestigious Japanese gaming conference. "We’ve seen official, widely circulated documents strongly suggesting that Forza Horizon 6 is actually planned to be announced during 2025’s Tokyo Game Show," said the report, which pointed to the event kicking off at the end of September.
The timing aligns with recent leaks surrounding the game’s setting. A post by Australian car import company Cult & Classic, which has since been deleted, appeared to confirm Japan as the location for the next installment. This has fueled speculation that the new game will take players on an open-world driving experience across Japanese landscapes—a fitting choice for a Forza Horizon title known for its expansive environments.
The rumor was further supported by insider Nate The Hate, who corroborated the information but cast doubt on the possibility of a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game. He noted that while the Forza Horizon franchise has expanded across multiple platforms in the past, it’s still uncertain whether the upcoming title will make its way to Nintendo’s next-generation console.
