According to recent reports by GG Recon, Activision Blizzard is talking to third-party tournament organizers to run the circuit in 2024. The reports state that the ESL FACEIT Group is in discussions as well. The reports claim that if the league is canceled Activision will pay a fee of up to $6m to franchises. If the league will be run by a third-party organizer the the teams will vote for an updated operating agreement.
