Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is officially leaving the League of Legends scene, ending its partnership with Talon Esports after over four years. The two organizations mutually decided to part ways, with the collaboration having achieved notable successes, including multiple domestic trophies and a top-four finish at the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational.
In a press release, Talon stated that the decision reflects the "evolving priorities and strategies of both organizations." However, this doesn’t mark the end of their partnership entirely, as PSG and Talon will continue collaborating in Rainbow Six Siege. It’s only their League of Legends program that will conclude.
For Talon fans concerned about the future, the organization reassured them on X (formerly Twitter) that it will still compete in the upcoming League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) league, set to begin on January 17.
