SOOP Partners with Riot Games for LCK

Streaming service SOOP just revealed plans to bring League of Legends pro play closer to fans worldwide especially through English broadcasts of the top tier LCK. In a social media update and press release SOOP shared details of a memorandum of understanding with Riot Games Korea. This deal locks in esports content sharing and platform upgrades from 2026 all the way to 2030.

English LCK Broadcasts Launch Today on SOOP

Fans outside Korea can now catch LCK matches in English right on SOOP via the dedicated LCK_EN channel. The service kicks off January 14th offering live streams plus creator co-streams packed with commentary reactions and interactive chats. This push builds on SOOPs goal of live priority viewing and deeper fan involvement across big tournaments.

Potential Coverage for Major LoL Leagues

SOOP might stream other key competitions too like the LEC LCS LCP and CBLOL. Availability will depend on season licensing and regions though so check locally.

Low Latency Features and Unified Platform

The platform works smooth on PC mobile and Smart TVs with super low delay for official feeds and creator streams alike. A new feature called Time Machine lets users rewind live action and jump back in without missing a beat. This comes after SOOP merged its Korean and global apps into one seamless setup boosting quality everywhere.

Non Stop LoL Content Beyond Matches

SOOP isn't stopping at game days. Expect ongoing pro player streams exclusive series and custom shows to track teams and narratives year round. The company already runs its SLL tournament line and has dropped specials like a chat show after T1s Worlds 2025 win.
