Yellow, an AI start-up founded in 2023, has successfully raised $5m in a seed funding round, with Andreessen Horowitz among its investors. The company intends to utilize this investment to further develop its 3D character creation technology. Yellow's flagship tool, YellowSculpt, leverages AI to provide artists and designers with pre-rigged 3D character meshes in several minutes. These creations are compatible with popular game engines like Unity, Unreal, and Roblox, facilitating streamlined development processes.
Similar to 2D image generators, Yellow broadens accessibility to 3D character creation for a broader audience. Furthermore, YellowSculpt claims to simplify much of the labor required to prepare 3D characters for animation and integration into games.

Yellow CEO Mandeep Waraich stated "The more tools that we can put in the hands of people that allow them to imagine and express their ideas, experiences, and stories more vividly and authentically, the more we can see each other's worlds and build upon them generatively. And that's good for all of us!"
