DAZN has partnered with the Esports World Cup Foundation ahead of the upcoming Esports World Cup. As part of this collaboration, DAZN will stream the entire event free of charge on its platform and serve as a key strategic ally for the esports and gaming event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The inaugural Esports World Cup was announced by Saudi Arabia in October 2023, succeeding the Gamers8 festival organized by the Saudi Esports Federation. The event is a significant component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aimed at diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on oil.
