Bayes Esports and GRID have joined forces to for the Esports World Cup. This collaboration follows Bayes Esports' recent partnership secured in June with Prizepicks. Both Bayes Esports and GRID Esports serve as official data partners for esports entities, including publishers, tournament organizers, and betting platforms.

The inaugural Esports World Cup was announced by Saudi Arabia in October 2023, succeeding the Gamers8 festival organized by the Saudi Esports Federation. The event is announced as a component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aimed at diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on oil.
