Amber, a game development agency headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, has acquired Colombian studio Madbricks for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition will integrate Madbricks’ 40 staff members into Amber’s global team, which currently comprises over 850 employees.

Based in Bogota, Madbricks has a diverse portfolio, working across mobile, PC, and console platforms. The studio has previously collaborated with clients like Voodoo, ByteDance, and Maximum Games, and has already partnered with Amber on various projects.

Amber views this acquisition as a strategic move to expand its workforce by integrating external studios. With a global talent network of over 3,400 specialists through its partners, Amber has also worked with notable companies including Amazon, King, Big Fish Games, Disney, N3twork, Rovio, Warner Media, and Thatgamecompany.

“We were impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the Madbricks team during our past collaboration, so this acquisition is a natural next step in our relationship,” said Amber CEO Mihai Pohonțu.
