Companies/MicrosoftMicrosoft has announced that subscribers to its Core and Standard Xbox Game Pass tiers may face delays of up to 12 months or more before accessing new titles from its first-party studios. This update clarifies changes made to the Game Pass service in the past month.

In contrast, Core ($10/month) and Standard ($15/month) subscribers will have access to a curated selection of 25 high-quality games and hundreds of games, respectively, but will not receive immediate access to new first-party titles.
