G2 Esports and Invictus Gaming (iG) have mutually ended their partnership for the co-branded Dota 2 team. The collaboration, which began at the end of 2023, aimed to enhance G2's presence in China and enter the Dota 2 scene.
During its brief existence, the team experienced mixed results, finishing in the top 16 at The International 2024 and placing in the bottom two at the Riyadh Masters 2024, which featured a $5 million prize pool. The team's best performances included a fourth-place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 1 and a top-six finish at ESL ONE Birmingham.

In a statement on X, G2 Esports expressed gratitude to iG for aiding in their expansion into China and acknowledged the contributions of their Dota 2 players. G2 emphasized their ongoing commitment to building a fanbase in China, indicating potential future endeavors in the region.
