Stake has announced a partnership with the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), a major CS2 esports event organized by GRID in collaboration with Eden Esports. As the exclusive betting partner for the English broadcast of the CCT, Stake aims to engage with esports fans through various content and activations during the event.
Now in its second edition, the Champion of Champions Tour features a prize pool of $1.5 million (£1.18 million) and will culminate in a major LAN final in early 2025. The Turkish team Eternal Fire currently holds the title, having triumphed over Team Liquid in the Global Finals in May 2024.
This partnership marks Stake's first foray into the esports sector, with Chief Marketing Officer Akhil Sarin emphasizing that the CCT is an ideal entry point for the company. He highlighted esports as a key growth area, stating that several activations and content initiatives are planned throughout the collaboration with GRID.
