The International Esports Federation (IESF) has elected new members to its board and committees during its 16th Ordinary General Meeting (OGM), held on November 16th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The meeting brought together 150 delegates from IESF’s member federations. It was opened by Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation, who was appointed Active President of the IESF last year.

The first session of the meeting involved voting on various motions submitted by members, with Canada, Germany, Latvia, and Malta officially granted Full Membership status.

The second session focused on electing key positions within the IESF Board and committees. The following individuals were elected:

  • Board Member: Samart Benjamin Assarasakorn
  • Treasurer: Daniel Wen Jun Loy
  • Membership Committee Members: Soufiane El Filali and Jaroslav Melishek
  • Audit, Risk, and Governance Committee: Tomas Gabris (Chair), Jacopo Ierussi, and Stevan Nenad Rosic
  • Regulatory Committee Chair: Ido Orel Bros

In his closing remarks, IESF General Secretary Borban Totovski expressed his appreciation for the assembly, stating: “This year’s assembly demonstrated the strength of our community and the shared vision that drives IESF forward. I thank everyone for their contributions to a democratic and smooth process, and I look forward to welcoming more member federations to our family next year and even greater success.”
