Epic Games is teaming up with one of Japan's most iconic virtual YouTubers, Kizuna AI, for the Fortnite KizunaAI Cup. This special in-game event is set for January 13, 2026, and gives players a unique chance to unlock the Kizuna AI Outfit and her Wings Back Bling early—before they appear in the Item Shop.
The tournament is open to everyone on all platforms, including mobile, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It's a single-session competition where points come from eliminations and Victory Royales. Whether you're grinding for top placement or just want to try for the cosmetics, this is a fun crossover event blending Fortnite's battle royale action with VTuber culture. Mobile players (Android and iOS) will run in the separate KizunaAI Mobile Cup using Solo Blitz Royale mode for faster-paced matches. Scoring is based on the usual Fortnite competitive system: higher placements earn more points, with bonus points for eliminations and Victory Royales.
The event typically allows up to 10 matches per session.Rewards and Placement TiersTop finishers on the leaderboard will receive the Kizuna AI Outfit and Wings Back Bling. Exact placement cutoffs for mobile will be shown in the Compete tab before the event starts.
