Sony Interactive Entertainment's CEO and president, Jim Ryan, is set to retire from his role, as announced by Sony. The news was initially reported by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier before Sony issued an official press release. After a long 30-year tenute at Sony and PlayStation, Ryan will officially step down from his position in March 2024.

Taking the reins as interim CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment from April 1, 2024, will be Hiroki Totoki, who currently serves as chief operating officer of Sony Group.
