Sony has reached out to approximately 6,800 present and past employees, notifying them that their personal data has been exposed due to a security breach. The hackers used Sony's own system MOVEit to access the data. Sony announced that the exploit has been fixed. Sony offered affected employees credit monitoring and identity restoration.
