According to recent reports by Twitch the company will stop its operations in South Korea. The company recently reduced the quality of the streams to 720pç However even with these reductıons Twitch stated that their costs are 10 times more in South Korea than other countries. Twitch officials stated "“Twitch has been operating in Korea at a significant loss, and unfortunately there is no pathway forward for our business to run more sustainably in that country.”"
