The workers of Ubisoft France are going for a strike for better salaries. The French gaming workers union, Syndicat des Travailleurs du Jeu Vidéo (STJV), announced plans for today's strike. In their statement, the STJV highlighted management's offer of budget increases below inflation for the second consecutive year, deeming it unacceptable for a company to prioritize profits over fair compensation for employees. Additionally, the union revealed that strike pickets would be organized at the Annecy, Montpellier, and Paris studios. Union representatives stated "The strategy chosen by management aims at saving €200 million over the next two years among production costs. We are contesting this strategy."
