According to recent news, Gigantic is returning once again. Gearbox Publishing surprised fans last year by reviving Gigantic for a weekend, six years after the game ceased operations. Originally developed by Motiga and published by Perfect World Entertainment, Gigantic had shut down shortly after its release in 2017. However, Gearbox Publishing, formerly Perfect World Entertainment, has announced the permanent return of Gigantic. Abstraction Games has taken over development, and the game, titled Gigantic: Rampage Edition, is set to launch on April 9 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S with full cross-play support.
