"NoobFromUA" Receives Copyright Strikes from PGL

According to recent news, PGL issued 4 copyright strikes to Youtuber "NoobFromUA"'s channel. Following the strikes he has shared the news on Twitter and stated that his channel will be closed down soon due to strikes. Youtube has 3 strikes policy per channel. "NoobFromUA" will have a challenge period to counter. NoobfromUA has over 1.04 million subscribers on Youtube. The strikes affected DPC 2023 and TI12 videos.

Following the news PGL made a statement and stated that "we have no intention of taking down entire YouTube channels."

PGL stated "Concerning content creators using PGL content without authorization: We constantly monitor various platforms and channels for any unauthorized PGL content.Our objective is to ensure fair usage of our content, which may involve requesting the removal of PGL content. However, we want to clarify that we have no intention of taking down entire YouTube channels. We're putting together new rules for content creators, and we'll make sure to share them before our next PGL Dota 2 tournaments. We've spotted some hiccups in our process and have made changes for the better. If you're a content creator keen on using PGL-owned content, we'd love to hear from you directly.
