Capcom has unveiled the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 season. During the announcement event, Capcom's President, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, shared details for the upcoming tournament season.

Tsujimoto expressed gratitude for the successful inaugural year of Street Fighter 6 and its impact on the tournament scene. He then revealed that while the overall prize pool distribution for next year's Capcom Pro Tour will stay the same. In anticipation of the second season of Street Fighter 6 tournaments, Capcom aims to capitalize on the momentum by offering a $1m prize pool for the winner of the Capcom Cup in the upcoming year. The Capcom Pro Tour 2024 is scheduled to commence in June.
