OpTic Gaming has revealed its partnership with Smoothie King. Per agreeemnt Smoothie King is named as the presenting sponsor and meal sponsor of the three Scump Watch Parties. The Chief Marketing Officer at Smoothie King, Marianne Radley, stated “The partnership with OpTic delivers the ultimate better-for-you option for esports athletes – and of course, their loyal fans – looking for a delicious, protein-packed boost to help stay on top of their game.”

OpTic Gaming CEO Hector "H3cz" Rodriguez and former Call of Duty player Seth "Scump" Abner filed a lawusit in a Los Angeles federal court, they accused Activision Blizzard of holding an unlawful monopoly over professional leagues and tournaments. Activision is accused of leveraging its trademark and ownership of Call of Duty to control the downstream pro gaming market. Collectively, Rodriguez and Abner seek more than $680 million in damages.
