NetEase Reveals 2023 Financial Results

NetEase, reported its financial results for 2023, showing a surprise increase in its overall performance. The company's total revenue increased to RMB 103.5b ($14.6b) from RMB 96.5b ($13.4b), marking a 7.2% growth from the previous year.
A significant rise in profits was also recorded, increasing by 19.5% to RMB 63.1b ($8.9b) in 2023, up from RMB 52.8b ($7.3b) in the prior year. The revenue from its gaming division grew by 9.4%, reaching RMB 81.6b ($11.5b) compared to RMB 74.6b ($10.3b) in 2022.
