Cloud9 withdrew from ESL Pro League Season 19 with immediate action. According to reports SAW will replace Cloud9's slot. Ulrich Schulze stated "Spirit were first in line to replace C9, but turned down the invite. SAW were next."

SAW likely earned their invitation to the Pro League due to their position in the ESL world ranking. Cloud9 initially secured their Pro League spot through their ESL ranking, leaving SAW as the next highest-ranked team after Cloud9 and Spirit without an invitation.
